Nile Lechwe
The Nile Lechwe are Sudanese animals found in swamps and grass marshes. The dominant male will mark his chosen female before mating ensues. Most females will carry one calf per year, with a gestation period of around eight months. These animals can live for up to 19 years in captivity.
