Sitatunga
The Sitatunga is a semiaquatic amphibious antelope, which means it is comfortable in the water as well as on land. It has a long, shaggy, oily coat and hooves that make them clumsy and vulnerable on firm terrain but allow them to walk more easily through muddy, vegetated swamplands. Breeding occurs year-round, with one young being produced every 11 months. These animals have a lifespan in captivity of around 22 years.
