Animal Capture
At Blackjack Breeders, we are meticulous about which animals we capture and how we capture them to invoke the least amount of stress possible. Because most herds live in pastures that allow them to stay wild, we often apprehend them from helicopters and dart them from the air. If darting the animal from the air is not possible, our highly trained staff can dart them from the ground. Our team then moves the safely sedated animal into a remote capture pen for transport. In addition, we have mobile traps that we set up to capture animals without sedation.
Transportation
Blackjack Breeders is committed to minimizing animal stress and maximizing animal safety during transport and relocation. We use remote capture pens or trailers made for exotics to keep them secure and comfortable while we deliver them to you. This ultimately minimizes the potential for injury and keeps your animals safe and healthy. They are monitored during transport, making delivery one less thing for customers to worry about.
